Virgin Mobile Blocking Access?

After several attempts to try and get my VMobile Switch_Back connected to my PC (tried all versions of drivers and software programs that were listed on this site) I have pretty much decided that it is not going to happen with this phone.
As I was reading online and in the forums here there have been several comments regarding Virgin Mobile blocking any access for users to get into the phone. I had the Cyclops, and was able to access the phone via USB cable and was really pleased so is this true that they are now blocking access so nobody can get into this phone?

i think it depends on the firmware version with that phone however newer phones like the wild_card are blocked.
