So Sick of Defective KRZRS!!!

Ok, this now my 3rd unlocked KRZR, this one DIRECTLY from Motorola. Get it out of the box, everything seems good, then when I fold it up the outer screen gets corrupted and the inner screen is blank white. Just leaving to sit for awhile and the phone locks up too. Both of these seem to occur randomly. Do I just have bad luck with lemons? Is it a known software issue? PLEASE help as I am getting very frustrated with my first Motorola phone experience.

Is this a known issue with certain software/flex versions? Every single KRZR I have ordered, 2 from FleaBay and 1 directly from Motorola have all worked SORT OF, each one has it's own little unique problem that effectively cripples the phone as an effective communication device. Anyone with similar problems? If I have to send this back I don't think I am getting another Motorola, any suggestions for the $200 range?

There are plenty Nokia/Sony Ericsson phones that are good in that price range. I personally LOVE Sony Ericsson, and there are a couple good phones that are in the sub-$200 range. Be aware that there are not really good flip phones, but there are a good amount of candybar styled phones.
