Flyphone by Firefly HELP!

I bought my daughter a flyphone and hooked her up with kidconnect from tmobile.
My problem with firefly is that they monopolize their phones! I can't just load free games in the phone, I have to buy it from the firefly store. This sucks! Is there anyway around that?
