HELP - My RAZR V3 keeps rebooting
(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

so i have a Motorola RAZR V3 from AT&T, and it's only a few (6?) months old.
the other night, out of the blue, it just started shutting off, then turning back on immediately.
i can pinpoint exactly when it happened. i was in the house, and my wife was leaving. i noticed my phone had automatically connected to the car's bluetooth from inside the house, and i shut the phone off. after i turned it back on, that's when the 'rebooting' started.
anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? thanks in advance.

Did you do any modding of any kind?
Did you drop it?
Did you turn off the bluetooth?

- no modding.
- did not drop.
- did not turn off bluetooth.

Try turning off the bluetooth. Also, how often do the restarts happen?

turned off the bluetooth (under Connections), but still doing it..
rebooting every 5-6 minutes or so..

uhm try to take out the battery and leave it off for like 30 min and turn it on again. If it happens again then the last resort will be to flash it. Keep me updated.

tried 30 minutes with the battery out, but still doing it.
are there detailed instructions somewhere about flashing? will i lose everything on my phone?
by the way, THANK YOU for all your help so far. it's much appreciated.

Yeah You can start by looking at the links in my signature. If you have any questions post them up. You are going to lose everything, so backup videos, pics, ringtones, contacts to the computer (you need a data cable).
Ask if you have any questions. The flashing will most likely void your warranty (I am guessing you don't have one since you are not sending it back to motorola).
I can help you find the flash file after you are done reading about the flashing process. It's not THAT hard, but if you don't do it right, you can brick your phone (about 1% of the time). I have never killed my phone and have flashed it like 100+times (no joke).
You are welcome.
