Wallpaper bug?

Im trying to use one of my camera pix as a wallpaper for my p1i, now the pic is bigger than the screen and on my p990i i am able to move the pic around to choose where to center it or what not, but the p1i wont let me do that by dragging it around. in the help section of wallpapers, it states i am allowed to do this? anyone know why i am unable to move my pic around when setting the wallpaper?

...no ones had this problem of trying to move around the pic when setting a large picture as a wallpaper? I dont know why im having this problem with my P1i, my 990i seems to be able to do this?
