ok before i get started my viewcast dosnot work on phone evdo missing can i still flash the file to the phone with out messing it up i dont care if vcast works or not and will the transcard still work when im done thanks for the help

depending on what firmware version you have already on the phone determines whether or not you can flash. the latest v3m firmware from verizon (01.19.05) effectively prevents successful flashing due to a bug in the software released by motorola.
whether or not evdo works is dependent on your area. tf will still work. make sure you follow directions to the letter.
