My Kyocera Marbl HAcked?!

Ok, so I have my phone on silent and i am sitting in my room, its 4am and I cant sleep, I'm online and then all of a sudden my phone starts ringing! I pick it up and listen to it ring as I am looking at the silent icon in the display and thinking "WTF!", on top of that, the screen is still showing the time and it doesnt look how it should when somebody is calling. I know what you're thinking, its not the alarm, it was a real call, very strange, after it stopped (I didnt dare answer it), it said in the recent calls menu that it was from "PRIVATE".

I really dont know what to make of this but it freaked me out and I am wondering if anybody has ever experienced anything like this or knows what happened.

Also, recently, my website was hacked and some other weird stuff has been happening, so I am on edge.

One Missed Call?

the phone rang when it was on silent, it never did that before. and the screen didnt register a call. this is the kind of thing that happens when someone is messing with your phone.

lol its probably because the marble is as useful as DOS

Posted by: f0cus

actually DOS can be pretty darn useful if your windows system gets corrupted or crashes and you need to recover from a boot disc or cd.

Guv'ment agents planting bugs. Now they can track your site actions as well as follow you via GPS and monitor your calls.

Kidding. I had an older Kyocera QPC something and it did that once in awhile. Usually my computer speakers would pick up a very faint ping that came in 2-3 second intervals. Never had either happen since I moved out of AZ

i dont think the site and the phone are related but its possible what you said.
hmm....but why me? im not very interesting or dangerous. hmmm....

if u wanna hear something weirder...

once...on a motorola phone with t-mobile service, i got a text message from a strange number in washington, the test message was only 3 numbers. They were the last three numbers of my 4-digit voicemail code.

That freaked me out.
