I have a currently have a jailbroken 1.1.1 phone that I’ve been using for a while with a bunch of 3rd party apps installed. I want to upgrade to 1.1.2 following the
OkToPrep
Upgrade to 1.1.2 through itunes
let itunes activate
run the new 1.1.2 jailbreak

My question is do I need to restore back to an un-jailbroken 1.1.1 phone and then re-jailbreak before I start? or should I uninstall all my applications through installer? or am I okay just to install OkToPrep and then upgrade?

Just wanted to post an update. I did the OkToPrep and then tried to update to 1.1.2 but it failed and iTunes said I needed to do a restore.

I ended up having to:
restore to 1.1.1
jailbreak
OkToPrep
upgrade to 1.1.2
jailbreak
re-install all my apps.

Worked in the long run...just took a bit longer

did you download 1.1.2 and shift click on the 1.1.2 file?

nope....i just clicked the update button and let itunes download the 1.1.2 update

How do you jailbreak 1.1.2 after you upgraded (you listed it above)? I thought the jailbreak worked using the TIFF exploit which is fixed in 1.1.2?

my upgrade from jailbroken 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 failed, so i did a restore back to 1.1.1, then jailbroke again and went from there.
