On my fifth refurb of the 6265i love this phone but can't get away from all the problems it gives me. This time screen went blank. I get a few vertical colored lines but thats it. Still rings and answers, and I can navigate through some of my menu options from memory. Problem is, can't remember after getting into multimedia inbox and selecting view then options how far down till I get to forward, and what pops up on the screen after that? Also, should I spring for a refurb.? Parts phone and switch screens? Or unfortunately go with another phone?

can someone move this to the correct place

what have you previously had to refurb on it?

nothing that I know. Since my orig. one broke I have received all refurbs from Metro. All of them have had something go wrong with them in about a month. Not turn on, blank screen, freeze, bad pin, bad firmware. can't get one to work like the orig.

I've had the exact same problem with my 6265i from Telus. On my fourth one now. Sad.

Folks,

I think those problems you have encountered are hardware related. 6265i has several ribbon cables around, they could be damaged when sliding up / down in heavy-use conditions.
