E815 MENU key not working (and others)

I've got an E815 that is about 16 months old. Yesterday, certain keys stopped working (Menu,2,UP, and UP Rocker). Initially, the menu worked because I was trying to browse pictures that are stored in the phone's memory. I noticed that I couldn't scroll through them, nor mark them for moving to the MicroSD card. After pressing basically all the keys (not sure what others were not working at the time), I lost the menu button (among the others listed). I do not think it is the keyboard, but I'm not sure. It seemed software related because something similiar happened to me before and it somehow came back after I removed all the pictures from the phone's memory (the menu button worked that time).
Is there some kind of reset for the phone, or diagnostic mode? I cannot get to the menu, so any options involving that are out of the question.
I do have the USB cables and drivers for this phone and a version of MPT.
