Streaming from Home Computer?

I remember reading about a program that would allow you to access / stream files from your home computer on your phone? Obviously I would do this only on Wi-Fi but that would be a pretty sweet deal if I am not crazy. Does anybody out there know what I am talking about?

What kinda files are you talking about? Like music or movies?

I know that Orb can be used with a mobile phone.

Orb requires Adobe Flash. If you are using WM6 standard(non touch), then you are out of luck with that as I am with my Shadow. I have heard rumors that Adobe will be coming out with a version of flash for WM6 standard though, just not sure when.

I'm getting a CDMA Touch with the faster processor and more ram. Hopefully orb will work fine with it.

I used it on my old audiovox powerpc and it worked great! I was using MS asf files for streaming not flash. In orb setup on the pc, you can select what kind of stream type you want. I trust it should work with any WM media player, no?
