N73 Theme Problem

Hi Guys,

I have purchased n73 music edition recently.

I have installed some themes in that(on memorycard.). they were working fine no problem.
now for some reason i have changed my memory card. I have placed my new memory card. and again tried to install that same themes from backup on my pc.
but it simply says "Unable to install."

. I am using latest Nokia PC suit to install that.

if any have solution then please response to this.

try the n series PC suite i had a few issues with the nokia version then switched to the n series and fixed some errors that i got in the nokia pc suite

^ Hi, welcome to HoFo! It's because Symbian now makes things extra secure: many apps incl themes must be signed. Try the following steps:

1. Remove your mem card
2. Set the current date & time EXACTLY one year ago
3. Open App. mgr. > Options > Settings
4. Allow ALL software installation
5. Turn OFF online cert. check
6. Exit to the standby screen and reinsert the mem card
7. Verify if your themes can be installed
8. Set the date & time back to current

But i am still there where i was. i am still not able to install the theme.

Hi Moderator HF 25,
I have also tried to install themes as your way. but it is not done yet. its now giving me this error "certificate may not yet be valid, is expired or phone's date settings may be incorrect."

I am now really going mad why this not working to my phone.

Please help me out in this.

^ Don't be mad. Try to set the YEAR to 2006 then (In fact, any date BEFORE before 2007-6-12). Reference: http://www.mobile9.com/invboard/lof...php/t41514.html I keep forgetting now is 2008!

i've been facing the same problem, i've tried switching the date to 2006 ,, but still !!!!! didn't work ,, GUESS WHAT

THE THING THAT SOLVE THAT PROBLEM WITH MY PHONE WAS : CORRECTING THE DATE , MY PHONE'S DATE WAS WRONG FROM THE BEGINNING , WHEN I PUT THE CORRECT DATE AND TIME ( AS IT IS , NOT A YEAR BEFOR OR AFTER OR ANYTHING , JUST AS IS ) , I WAS ABLE TO INSTALL EVERY THEME I COULDN'T BEFORE

.. I HOPE THAT WOULD SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM TOO GUYS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW . THANKS
