How to install Applications without Installer?

Anyone know of a program that I can use to install applications without the installer program? I've tried iBrickr, but it has to be in a ".pxl" format. I'm trying to install this: http://code.google.com/p/iphone-converter/ because the source that he has listed there is not a working source. But I am able to download the ".zip" file containing a "Converter.app" folder. Thanks (P.S. I'm on a 1.1.1 Jailbroken/Unlocked Phone)

You just need to SSH into the iPhone and put all app files in the Applications directory of your iPhone

How do I go about doing that? I have Open-SSH downloaded.

I'd use WinSCP. Just put in your iphones ip address when it's on the wifi, log in using the username "root" and whatever password you used set in the ssh proggie, and you're connected. Browse to the Application folder, etc. etc.
