Maxx Ve can't receive/send any msgs

All was going well and then last night my phone says memory full for any text..pic or Video msg. haven't received any msgs that I have sent from VZW (https://text.vzw.com/customer_site/jsp/messaging_lo.jsp)
I sent a msg to myself from a so Linc phone and haven't rec'd it. The thing is.. I have plenty of memory and can't figure out what happened? haven't done anything new... already pulled battery out prior to post.
Any ideas?
