just bought a z 525 and it has a phone lock on it. is there any way for me to remove it?

wat do u mean phone lock?? as in when u try to master reset and theres a code u have to punch in??? its default 0000

no, when i power it on it says phone locked enter lock code.

You might need the PUK code. You will have to contact your provider for that. (Usually happens when you enter the wrong PIN 3 times--phone locks itself and you need a master unlock code.)

**Note** This is not the same thing as a Subsidy Lock as in locking/unlocking phones...

I'm not familiar with ericsson phones but it looks like some sort of user initiated security code, you know the one to keep unauthorized users from accessing the phone
