V3m Battery Life

On my Razr V3m (Sprint) I updated my phone to version 24.2_00.48.04P and ever since then my battery life seems to have gone down substantially. Before the update it would last about 3 days with normal use. After the update it doesn't even last 24 hours even without any use at all. Could it be the update or the battery? and it's just a coincidence that it happened after the update?

I know this is an old(er) thread, and this may not apply to the OP anymore... but IF you're still using Sprint's Motorola RAZR V3m, and data speed isn't as important to you as battery life, you may want to check out the TIP I just posted here: http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1413959 . The tip worked well for my friend and now the original Motorola 780mAh battery is lasting him 5-6 days per charge!

If it started happening when you changed software, you can safely assume it's the software.
