how to: add installer on unlocked 1.1.2 thru iMac

Hi I've used iNdepenence to unlocked iphone and upgrade to 1.1.2, however i don't have the "installer" application on the springboard, is there any way i can add the installer to the iphone?
If I use the safari on the phone and run the jailbreakme.com, will that ruin my phone? thank you!!
