We are trying to get a rom dump from a pre-production model to possibly figure out a way to enable 3G and GPS in the released model. I have talked to HTC and they confirmed that the hardware is exactly the same in both models. Please help if you can. There are many people over at xda that can walk you through the process. THANKS!

I remember a while back, someone had upped it to the xda ftp server. I downloaded it just to be safe.

Now, I'm not totally convinced that it's truly the pre-prod ROM (so don't wet your pants with excitement yet); however, I have upped it here. Take a look.

I tried to compare them, but I think they were dumped two different ways. I'm not too familiar with dumps and all.

Yeah, I got that one to...but it isn't a complete dump. We need a complete dump of the rom to get anything done.

Oh man... that's too bad. I forget which xda-dev user had uploaded it... samaz or something??? Maybe you can contact them and make a proper dump.

The user was saman-cz; vactor also has/had a pre-prod.

Also found this dump. How's that look?

We are trying to get one of these guys to dump the rom...but nobody has yet. The rapidshare file is the same dump as what you already have.

Looks like we got a dump of a pre-production S730 rom at XDA. Stay tuned...and if you feel the need..donate to the cause. :-)

Because its pre-production rom is it possible its buggier than the regular rom ?
