I can't figure out this KRZR Red

My boyfriend has a KRZR Red and he bought a memory card for it so he could put music on his phone and now i can't get songs on his phone so if anyone can help me with this problem that would be great.

did you put it in usb mass storage mode? settings>connection>usb>mass storage
