okay I just received a Razr V3M from Verizon, SW=newest .07.

Okay, I did some seems and stuff from hacktherazR, I can tell you all of them if needed, but here is the prob. All worked find and dandy for awhile; then today I got a phone call from this number "50497404556" twice, and yes just like that no -'s. really weird right? I tried to call that number back the first time and I got a automated person saying that the number did nto exist, blah blah blah. after about 5 mins, aka right now, a text from "0115049740556" once again no -'s. the text said, "ITO,LLAMAME.AESTENUMERO"

Anyone know what happened or why this happened? Any Ideas would be grateful! I have yet to call Verizon, I will only do so as a last resort. Thanks for the help.

lol. Just someone who got your number sent you the phone. You probably triggered off the hyphenation feature in the phone. As for 011, that's the United States country code. You might want to contact your service provider why the country code is showing up on your phone. Try having a few friends send you texts and calling your phone to see what it pops up as. I know I set off the hyphenation on my phone last time I was screwing around with my seems.

Thank you for the reply, but Why when I redial it does Verizon say the number does not exist? Plus doesn't 50497404556 have one too many numbers in it?

Well, that one then I don't know. My best guess is some blundering idiot went to a cell phone store and fooled around with the display phones and god knows whether or not they give those store cell phones new numbers every day... That's my best guess. I don't know about the too many numbers part; the first number you listed was one number more than the second one you listed.
