Not sure for 904SH, but I can test it with my 920SH. Right now I'm at the office where there's no signal. If no one can answer your question, I'll see if I need to reboot once I get outside.

Not true, at least not with mine.

Did you even read the site I posted? It says ever so clearly that IT WON'T WORK. Sharp uses Sharp PSS-SIM's while iPhones use their respective PSS-SIM's.

That's a good price compared to PSS-SIM's. Are they generally around that price?

Posted by: aw614

Not sure but on yahoo hk there are a few under 800hkd

Anyone know if the Hypersim works with Fido Canada?

Also, 1 auction says that there's no need to cut your own sim. Is it real?

a PSS sim for the 920SH will probably come out soon....

Yes it's real. The sim cutting was required only with the original cards. Now they have smaller ICs that don't protrude.

Nope not at all, it works normal just like other cellphones
Im quite amazed with this PSS thing... very stable, I mean very...
will test it with 705Sh tomorrow

Mine is stable too. Well done PSS.

I'm a bit confused here. I've been reading threads saying that for the PSS sim, you need to punch a hole onto your sim card then stick the PSS sim onto it. Now for the Hypersim, you just need to stick it onto your original sim card? Is the PSS and Hypersim 2 completely different thing or...?

That could be a disaster...haha having to peel the PSS SIM off my SIM...lol

Posted by: martindesu

I would just order a new sim from vodafone...

Posted by: KBoardBox

Yeah, I could do that too, but I want to sell the 904 with the PSS SIM if a proper 920 one comes out.

Does anybody know a good place to buy accessories for the 904 in HK?

Well if it does, IF it does... I will just stick with my PSS for few months
dont want to buy it again and again cause there will be 2008 line ups available in March
who knows the new batch will face with another issue with the latest ones

Looking to buy 920P

Well, there's always the P905i, which is completely open.

jeez im going out and getting a p905i right now lol

I can't read any of that but I just went to the Official Japanese site and the P905i looks sweet!

So it's completely unlocked like our 903SH? Or do we need to go and get a PSS-SIM sorta thing?

They are physically different but logically identical.

Wasn't there some issue with the p905 not automatically changing towers when making calls? Is it unlocked by an actual unlock or by another of these sim hacks?

The first case was a cloned SIM. The second case is odder- someone decided to take their PSS SIM (EDIT- the forum just calls it a 卡貼- literally a "card stick-on", so it could be the Hyper SIM) out of their 904SH and stick it in the P905i for the heck of it. It worked. Dunno why, but hey. Both are SIM hacks, I guess. And yes, it has tower handoff issues. I suppose it depends on where you live. Where I live I might be covered by one tower for everywhere I happen to go in one day (the person did a test crossing Shanghai with the phone to see how bad tower handoff issues were- 5km trip was OK, cross-city wasn't).

p905i isnt cheap... its at least $500. for that price i think I would stick with my 904 or a 920 as they are only ~$300 each.

Well on the pss, they decided to use same trick with iphone on the sharps.. that's why they work now. Of course the codes (imsi etc) inside the pss differ depending on application but I am sure they did the same with the p905i. They just adapted a pss/hyper to hold the FOMA imsi and voila....

Although, I am still holding out for an old-school unlock for the so905ics as it is Sony Ericsson platform; which one, I am not sure yet.

I know it's expensive- I mentioned it as an alternative to the upcoming 920P (if it's as crippled as the Sharps are). But that's the strange thing- it wasn't adapted; one IMSI worked for both Softbank and DoCoMo (I asked where to get one in a PM at that forum and I got the reply "any old one will do- I just pulled mine from my 904SH and it worked"). In fact, it was also mentioned as a possible reason why it didn't work properly. For the cloned card it was the same; tested in a 904SH then put in the P905i.

EDIT-Oh... The post (cloned card) says that first 8 digits of the IMSI was replaced with "08091010" when the card was written (originally this was to add stability to the 904SH PSS SIM because it would occasionally reboot). Does this belong to any provider?

Thanks for the reply. I do hope that a full unlocking solution would come out soon w/o using sim hacks

On the other hand, the P905i does seem like a great alternative to the 920. Like it very much. Anyone tested to see if this phone works with Fido Canada using the PSS sim for the 904sh? But if this phone isn't GSM, how will it work with the Canadian mobile network? o.O

Posted by: KBoardBox

It does have GSM it seems...at least from a quick Google search. Somebody confirm that?

Posted by: taniame

okay, that post on P905i did stated that he was using 877 card not a pss/hyper

And it also stated that by using 877, it does not automatically "switch towers"
which means you would have to manually search for service once a while during motion

Posted by: White Comet

ouch, that sucks but its DoCoMo. Don't think those phones ever got unlocked before

Anyways, the 904sh is
2G Network GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network UMTS 2100

from GSM arena.

the p905i does have GSM, but the website doesn't specifically state which frequency it uses

FYI, all "international roaming" from Docomo or SB mean TRI-BAND GSM. The whole purpose of having GSM is to have roaming in other countries. That's why it is always tri-band

Posted by: White Comet

Oh alright. But isn't it true that phones from Docomo and SB can't be used in other countries other than Japan? If that's the case, what's the point of having GSM when it can't roam in other countries, let say China for example.

Or am I mistaken? Still a Mobile phone n00b T_T

no you are not a noob,

FYI, if you have a SB usim with an SB 3G phone with "international roaming", you can use it in China and USA where use GSM networks. This has been confirmed by tons of ppl. If you have a chance to go to E3 or other kinda big expos, you can see tons of japanese reps using 904SH to make calls.

BTW, my uncle came from japan to have a 2 wk stay here last year, he used 904SH.

Posted by: White Comet

haha...thx for the kind words

Didn't know there were different kind of sims in Japan or other countries x.x Anyways, this clarifies things up for me.

Hopefully the P905i can be unlocked la, really into that phone if its gonna cost the same as white 904sh on ebay.

Not North American tri-band (850/900/1900) either, then. They could use some quad-band phones and tri-band 3G/3.5G phones too...hehe Japan, you listening? You can't keep your phones to yourself forever!

Posted by: taniame

oh well, there are different providers, you know. Like DoCoMo, SB, AU etc.

I believe AU phones are totally not unlockable due to sim-free?? (Someone correct me)

DoCoMo and SB all uses USIM, it will let you use GSM (if that phone has it) and 3G to roam around the world

P905I is literally unlocked by using 877, but 877 requires writing a clone of your sim, not worth the effort.

yes, you are right

cuz one of the 850/900 is really not within the traditional "tri-band". Theoractically, a tri-band will not work 100% here in the USA with GSM but definitely 90%. Only ATT uses both of 850 and 900, and if you only have one of them, you will be fine other than bad/no receiption in some areas.

However, if your phone is dual-band or single band, then you are pretty much limited to certain countries using those freq only.

Conclusion, tri-band will get you international roaming but not perfectly perfect roaming.

edit: i was referring to the regular international triband...

AU is CDMA, they don't have a SIM at all.

DoCoMo and SB use USIMs, and they will work in Europe and Asia if unlocked/roaming for both GSM (if applicable) and 3G/3.5G). 3G/3.5G on those phones will never work in North America.

i believe AU is CDMA2000, isn't that true? Someone correct me

DoCoMo used to be a pain but now there are those stickers. kakakaka

Honestly, my home has poor GSM receiption and i really should get verizon

LOL

Posted by: takumi906

AU uses cards that look like USIMs called IC cards but they're meant to be put in a phone you use out of the country and not in their phones.

taniame: since you live in socal I can tell you for the most part verizon gives me 3 bars 90% of the time wherever I am.

Posted by: AL9999

KDDI au uses UIM cards that resemble SIM cards but are slightly different in the way they work. They are actually used in the same way as SIM cards though - they're inserted into au phones whlie in Japan, but if you want to roam outside Japan you take it out and put it in any GSM or 3G phone to get service outside Japan with your Japanese phone number. au's phones have been requiring these UIM cards for the last year or two now.

In fact, KDDI just announced a new phone early this week that's dual mode GSM/au CDMA (Sony Ericsson W62S), so that renders the above obsolete, but it also requires the UIM card too.

I hope that's true because in the past many of the docomo world wing phones were only dual band gsm 900 1800.

Well you were lifted from newb status a few posts before this, but this one kinda sent you back into noobyville. GSM, WCDMA (UMTS) etc... these are standards. They would only be implemented in a device if there was intention to have them roam; which there was. This was Vodafone's big thing. They figured they could have these devices with UMTS and GSM standard so their customers could travel the world with their phones. Something that even Docomo didn't quite master yet.

My wife has been on Vodafone's roaming only plan for about 5 years, since she first came to canada (lol they were giving out motorola v66 back then). The v66 was gsm only so it didn't work in Japan. Now she can use a device with GSM and 3G or better, HSDPA, in Canada and Japan. However the CS reps told her that if she uses her phone while in Japan, SB will move her into a domestic calling plan automatically and lose her grandfathered roaming only plan with is 300 yen per month + usage. It was amazing for her the day I unlocked her v66, then her v802se, then her 903, then her 804ss (I claimed all for myself except the motorola and samsung).

Lucky for me, it means we can do a hardware upgrade every year and I can get a phone on the cheap. It also means I can do things like repro (although it comes back with my sim).

oh well, AU has no sim, that's for sure, but some AU phones looks nice.

About the triband, i am pretty sure. Well, maybe not 100% sure since i don't buy Tri-band phones no-more. I was really studying tons of things on band with during late 1990s, when a Nokia 6190 was like one of the coolest phones here in the states. And that time, Japan has j-phone that were like small like hell. Then finally, we get some smaller phones from nokia and SE etc, then Japan switched back to big clamshell with color screen.........

USA, is hopeless...

Now they do. It's rather new. It's not actually a GSM SIM card, but rather an R-UIM. I'm guessing it's like how China Unicom's CDMA phones work.

I was emphasising the fact that you weren't reading what we wrote. KDDI au has been using its UIM cards for the last year or two now, and they work the same way as SIM cards. It's hardly a new feature.

And America, don't forget- pretty much anywhere.

With the new discovery that there are PSS SIM alternatives that work on DoCoMo phones more people are getting SH905i and P905i (They're both rather expensive- personally I'd rather have an N905i since it's a tad cheaper at 25-30k yen as opposed to the ~40k yen for the P905i).

so the 920SH has a contrast ratio of 2000:1

903SH has 200:1

but doe anyone know the contrast ratio on the 904SH?

I would say that the 904sh is 200000000:1... but that's just a guestimate.

How does it compare to using the PSS in the 920sh? Does it unlock the camera/media player?

Everything except 1seg and internet works on the 905i phones.

Posted by: Reevsaj

Even MMS? wow. How would you buy one of those? Yahoo japan only as of right now?

Posted by: pocky

The thing is...... MMS technically requires "Internet" capabilities. So, no I don't think you can use MMS on 905i

Posted by: Reevsaj

Oh well I dont really use MMS very much anyways xD So how would you go about getting one of these handsets? and what type of sim would it require?

Posted by: AL9999

MMS doesn't exist on any DoCoMo phone. For messaging, all you have is SMS and i-mode mail. That's it.

Funny thing, just tried my PSS Roger sim to one of Samsung locked phone from T-mobile
it works like a charm, tried my friend's rogers and showed "wrong card"

wow... I dont really know what PSS can unlock now...

haha 20$ - 30? .. I mean probably 100$ to 150$ overcharge..

I see (and might expect it to).

Posted by: aw614

yeah its something I've thought of doing, but havent full decided yet, and I think repro probably wont show up the same way it doesnt on the 904

Posted by: martindesu

I don't think it would show up either. I don't have the chance to change firmware unfortunately. As it stands, I can only use the 904SH from my collection with the PSS - all the others are now being sold...

some people have said new sim attachments for 904 don't require you to punch a hole in your sim card anymore because the microchip is small enough, does anyone have these? is the pss-sim website shipping them? actually i can't even find them on ebay... what have you all been typing in to search.

-also, how hard is it to remove your sim from the pss if you want to put your sim card in a different phone?

One of the other sims is called X-SIM-S. I haven't seen anyone who has it though. I am surprised how little of these are on ebay for 904sh.

As for removing the pss... its not recommended. Even the pss website says not to do so as you risk damaging one of the solder points on the IC to the PSS. If you're careful enough, I don't see any harm; other than the 3M tape's bonding ability getting weaker everytime you pull it off.

Yup, I didn't need to punch a hole in my USIM because the chip on my HyperSIM (mine's supposedly the 2nd version) is pretty flat

I think it might be the same one Martin haha.. I looked at his listing page and he's selling a black 903SH.

Very likely!

hey thanks guys... i found some hypersim for 904 on ebay, but it is 90 + 25 shipping so what's the point. how much did pss-sim website charge you all for shipping?

$25 CDN is wayy too much. I was only charged a couple bucks (under $10) for my PSS-SIM to be shipped from Taiwan to Toronto. It arrived in a envelope filled with bubblewrap.

EDIT: Should clarify that the person who sold me my other PSS-SIM was not directly from the company, therefore charged me for shipping.

Posted by: KBoardBox

The original was like $125 and shipping was included.

Posted by: Montoya

yeah... all the pss website says is usd $125, im sure when you check out you can see the shipping costs (if any) but I'm still looking around for a cheaper alternative..

Shipping costs are included in the 125USD.

can you post some pics? I've done some searching on auctions and the chip on the Hypersims are still sticking out, except that they're in the corner now. Looks like the chip is a bit smaller than the PSS SIM but still sticking out

Anyone know if the new Hypersims/PSS sim are found anywhere in Toronto? Shipping charges overseas is too much

Posted by: KBoardBox

Well, doesn't really matter if they're local or not, as the chips had to get to where you are first, and the costs will most likely reflect that.

Why don't you try an alternative? Head to PMall and ask around.. they'll have em.

^pmall will overcharge for sure, and i see no point in giving them the business because they are generally quite rude. there were a few links people posted here for ebay ones from china but i've never heard of those at all... darn. has anyone purchased ebay ones? want to post a link to the store if confirmed it works? much appreciated!!

try next sim on ebay, i use it for my 904sh, no problems with it so far, though it does take some time if you use it one the 705sh.. to find it just type 904sh or 920sh..

OMG lol I got home yesterday, and there was a note left on my door. Fed-Ex came by with a package but nobody was home. So I headed to the post office, and they handed me another PSS-SIM. Mine came many weeks ago though hmmm

I purchased the Next-Sim solution on Wednesday. I might receive it in 2 weeks or hopefully less. I will let you know what kind of results I get.

Holy cow! I received my next-sim v6 yesterday and I ordered it last Wednesday. Pretty fast especially since its coming from Shanghai. I popped that chip in with my T-Mobile USA card and been texting and calling with no problems. I'm pretty satisfied with the product and the ebayer.

Now I can enjoy my 904sh after waiting for soooo long. First time I've ever taken it out of the box since I bought it which was like almost 2 years ago haha.

I don't MMS or use the internet much on the phone so I'm okay with just text and SMS. I have a computer at home for internet

oh you bought it? the $35+$5 nextsim from ebay huh. I'm glad it works!! hopefully mine will come soon then... he emailed me yesterday and it wont ship until 3 or 4 days later

why is he selling for half the price of other ones? nobody knows...

-change your phones used, you aren't waiting for it anymore

haha yeah I edited my profile now thanks Montoya

Also a tip for the people that bought the next-sim... make sure you apply the double sided tape. I tried to see if it will work without tape, which it did, but then sms wouldn't work. Couple minutes later it wouldn't connect to the network. I decided to go ahead and put the double sided tape on and everything works perfectly. I guess the contacts from the next-sim to the sim card wasn't touching properly.

Thats a good thing about the pss-sim, they already have the double sided tape put on for you.

Posted by: Montoya

so your nextsim came with double sided tape or without? i can't put it on i have to switch cards often... damn. maybe if you wrapped the tape around very tightly it would work..

I dunno.. I've heard the contacts touching properly is a very important thing. Apparently many people have complained their PSS SIM didn't work, but it was simply a problem of them being stupid and not having the contacts touch correctly. A friend of mine's SIM card was slightly different from the PSS SIM that he got, but he just made sure to line up the contacts correctly and shave off a little of the PSS and it works fine now.

My nextsim came without it. I went to an office depot and bought some double sided tape.

ok I am getting sim mep errors on my 904sh and invalid sim on my 705p with card, do I need to master reset with my vodafone japan sim card to be able to use those phones? Before I was able just to paste card on sim and it worked without a problem.

Posted by: aw614

never mind I had to master reset my 904 using my voda japan sim card, both my knockoff and next sim work prefectly so far, will do more tests later on my drive to school tomorrow

I bought this one, it works fine in Australia. Didn't come with any double sided tape, but it works fine without it. Good Ebay seller too, with fast shipping as well (the $5 shipping was with FedEx for me).

Posted by: johnmoon

we all know anything for sharp will work with 904sh / 705sh / 816sh / 804sh and such
need to find out which will work with DOCOMO line ups
my 920SC do not work properly with cheap fake ones (only out going calls no incoming)
but with my PSS Sim it works fine, so it must be tested

(hypersim / PSS sim uses the same chip but must have slight different program inside too so they are not the same)

uhoh... why did it mess up? I hope the cheap ones weren't cheap because they are bad copies I don't have a vodafone japan sim card either hmm.

mr_snrub82 - thank you, i bought one too but it's not here yet. Hope mine works eh?

Posted by: aw614

this is my speculation on why it messed up, i put the customa custom screens on the 904 when I had the vodafone japan sim card, I think it probably locked it out of the specific sim card but I am not certain for sure if this is the case.

All I know now that I have two sim hacks, one on a prepaid sim and the other the next sim 6, both worked on my 904sh after the master reset.

Given that you do not have a voda jp sim card, you might not have any issues. I do remember a few people having to master reset first, then being able to use 904, but it seems to be that they used it with voda japan sim card first.

Posted by: kurokun21

it is better to get the TW sim as they have warranty. cheap china brand only support the sharp, it will not cross over to other models like SC or T

Posted by: fung_pi

the hypersims from singapore should be ok too

Posted by: killua110

I just bought the next sim v6 from ebay for 40$, hopefully it will work onmy 904 as well.

Posted by: johnmoon

as long as it was stated for sharp then it will work with 904sh
(think I tested next sim v6 already it worked)

So almost a month and a bit of going back and forth, with waiting for the postal system to work, I got two replacements from pss sim for the one I sent back. However, the first one gave me the USIM-MEP error and I realised it was for the iphone. I was cursing my luck with this sim workaround.

But by luck Sonny was nice to sent me another which I got today. Decided to use scotch tape, rather than go through the process of sticking and readjusting and it worked like a charm. Finally I get to play with the 904sh after almost 2 years.

But, this being Hofo, I'm going to sell it cause I want the SH905i go figure. Props to PSS SIM and Sunny for their customer service.

Is unlock possible with sharp 811sh?
Thanks for this great forum.

Where's that? Internet functions aren't locked...they just don't have an option for you to set Internet settings for your carrier. The settings are Voda/SoftBank and you can't change them.

Hey, does the 904 include usb wire?
Also does this adapter work for 904sh? Anyone recommend any others?

Posted by: KBoardBox

The 904SH doesn't include a USB cable, but it does have a charger. That adapter will work.

Posted by: MyLoveForTofu

Finally, my uncle shipped the 904sh he got me in hk (mystery color -.- lol he didn't state the color he got -_- I'm personally hoping for a white or violet XD his sense of humour is horrible if he’s doing this to get some laughs at seeing me dying from curiosity)

I guess I'll order a cheap hypersim or a inex (still deciding whether to save cash and get a cheap one or get one that seems reliable since Inex made the chip thing) from ebay tomorrow >_> I hope the phone arrives before the sim itself -_- But then again the both of them probably won’t arrive until the 2nd week of march -_-

Posted by: aw614

you'll get a pink one haha

but the cheap one, two days straight no problems,

Posted by: MyLoveForTofu

I actually don't mind the pink one lol. Pink stuff doesn't really scare me I even have pink silicone cases for my phones (rarely use since it thickens it)

any color is fine really except light blue (I find it ugly) and maybe black since its so common.

btw which cheap one are you referring to? the one sold by ctsphone888 named easy unlock about 30 or the next sim v6 or something (saw one for 30 earlier)

Posted by: takumi906

next sim v6. ill have mine in either today or tomorrow

I got my 920SH and PSS-SIM on the same day, same morning, and by the same courier too

Go with something others have tried and true, or else you'll regret it, and your phone will be sitting there as a paperweight again until you buy another SIM.

Posted by: MyLoveForTofu

Well I'd get a pss-sim but that site is like totally out of stock apparently. So I'll probably get the Next v6 sim since aw614 and takumi have both tried it.

Actually I might get a inex sim since I might get my hands on a docomo phone later (lol I might trade in my N95 for one) and they say it works in the dcmo thread >_>

but then again theres so many flaws I'm just confused and will probably wait it out a bit. I got the Phone already (well I mean I know I'll get it eventually since its being mailed over) I can wait for the sim. Just seeing if there is a sim that'll unlock the 904 and the dcmo phones XD so I don't have to get like 2 sims >_>;;

Oh crap i bought 2 sim cards from him and he gave me the same tracking number probably cause the status same as your since he sent me the email

I already filed a dispute through paypal and already contacted my CC but they say my account will be frozen and I told them that I'll contact them again in 3 days because I'm expecting a payment from someone (I sold my 903SH) grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i'm so pissed now

odd b/c I think takumi bought off of him too. I bought mine last week too, and got my hypersim this monday. I got the email about shipping usps prioity on the 21st of feb

and its the same exact one on ebay people are selling for 100 bucks

montoya: you are in canada right? I wonder if it is just being held in customs, because I think all the US buyers I think recieved theirs

No my tracking number is different. I think aw614 is right though, it is likely customs. US->Canada takes longer than anything I buy, even from Japan/Hong Kong. other people have bought from him and did get it so let's wait another week and see what happens. I'm glad it's only $40USD. If it was $135 I'm going down to the shipping address in the email to tune him up.

Posted by: MyLoveForTofu

That's probably true....customs usually hold the item for 3+ days when it reaches Canada .

Posted by: KBoardBox

Silly customs. EMS always seems to get by them though...hahah I once bought a phone from the UK off eBay and it arrived in THREE DAYS, no customs fees or anything. So awesome! Similar deal with the stuff I'm getting from Asia via EMS these days. w00t!

Posted by: johnmoon

Love my pink 904sh, think its still the best from softbank that can be unlocked
nice screen with full features, no lag like 903sh, great camera and all
was gonna sell it for sky blue one but changed my mind, this will be my keeper
+ Super stable, no drop calls or any at all

docomo phones are more fun to play with though, much more options, very customizable
*can change all images of reception bar and such*
year 2008 is truly the best year for those japanese phone freaks

Posted by: MyLoveForTofu

hmm....I usually get the item in 7 - 9 days after its been shipped >_> even with EMS it still delays for about 3 days >_>

I need to somehow get one of the original PSS-sims or atleast a inex soon
and
YAY for Pink 904sh! XD Finally someone that likes pink =P

the guy on ebay selling the next sim v6 is http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/alvenyang123 right??

did u guys get this:
Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on February 26, 2008 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

Does this mean we've been scammed? I emailed him couple days ago and he said it would arrive in 7-10 days. Hopefully hes not scamming us.

Nah I think you're fine. Powerseller with abundant feedback, and that message isn't fishy at all.

Thanks for the reply.
I don't know if this is already answered before in this forum, but I wonder if there's any other site other than Sharp's Customo site where I can download Themes for my sharp 904sh. Thanks again.

By the way, I'm from Manila and just want to let everyone working/living here know that the hypesim unlock for sharp 904sh worked perfectly here, for both Smart Telecom and Globe Telecom networks. It's been a month now and never experienced dropped calls and shutdowns. If there's anyone selling here in my area a 920sh pls. email me. Thanks

I got mine 2 years ago 10T( less than 200USD) brand new in greenhills. Now that unlock is possible, even a secondhand 904sh is nowhere to be found. I guess it is now the most sought after Jap phones here among Sharp fans.

Some friends of mine who sold their 904SH's a couple months before the unlock are saying how they're willing to trade their brand new N95 8GB's and SE K850i's for a brand new 904SH.

Tsk tsk.. patience pays off.

Very TRUE!!! Soon enough the 920sh will be fully unlocked!!!

Posted by: KBoardBox

lol not soon, one more year.

Even though the 920 will be ahead of its time in North America (heck, the 904 will probably STILL be ahead by then!), by that time there will be greater and better....

...Japanese phones.

Even if someone offered me to trade in his new Nokia N96 or Apple iphone, I wouldn't trade mine either. Even after 2 years Sharp 904SH is still beyond compare to what Nokia has to offer.

Well it depends what you're looking for =)

After all, the N-Series are smartphones that have much more capabilities. But for the iPhone.. I don't have anything much to say about it lol

Hey i contacted alvin after he got his ebay account suspended. This is what he told me:

"My account got suspended over some headphone I sold 2 months ago, still contacting ebay for details. Anyway, you should receive them in 6 to 10 business days after you receive your tracking number. Ebay is too slow. :S. If I shipped on 26 you will receive them this week or next week."

So for all of those still waiting for their sim like me, it should arrive.

Posted by: Raiden_

i ordered from alven on 26th, received today, so it's no scam

Well I just got my hypersim today =D and it works.....Although I thought I was going to break it when I had to jam it into the slot lol.

I can't seem to get rid of the roaming suitcase it doesn't bother me but like yea >_> (tried restarting)

Maybe you could try changing the network modes?

Posted by: gunadz

I got my 904sh today! I was so happy. Its a black Vodafone. The phone is a beast. I didn't expect it to be soo... huge. I can't wait to get my hypersim.

I tried auto and gsm and restarted after but it still showed up >_>

its fine I guess it doesn't bother me. My 903sh shows the briefcase too and so does my 707sc it doesn't affect my phone bill or any of the functions so I'll just let it stay there. (unless it does o.o then in which case I'll need to get rid of it lol)

Posted by: KBoardBox

Just leave it on GSM and restart. It'll go away eventually if it doesn't on the first restart.
