How to tell OEM V3 Razr battery from fake knockoffs?

Are OEM razr batteries white, like this? (it actually has information on it)

Or are they black, like this? (without information like mah rating)

The fact that the 2nd one is cheap doesn't give me confidence, even if they do call it OEM. A phone selling as well as the razr will create a huge market for cheap fakes. And how many real batteries don't have mah ratings on them?

How can we tell which is real?

Here's how to tell:

If you buy it for $10 off ebay or some obscure website, it is a knockoff. Period.
If you buy it from a wireless carrier, or from Moto itself, it is legit.
If you buy from a major website (tigerdirect, newegg), pay $25 bucks or more for it, it's PROBABLY legit.

I have a custom phone that cannot be replaced, but I wont hesitate buying third-party, China-made battery for it. Nuff said.

In my experience, the knockoffs don't perform nearly as well as OEM.
