Have fun unlocking a OTB iPhone. I don't know if they need a contract or not if you buy it from att, but I know for a fact you can just go to the apple store and buy a new one for $399+tax with no contract.

The above poster is correct. There is no contract at purchase. Everyone pays the same. So if you can get it unlocked, thats great but from what I hear the iPhones being sold today and not easy to unlock!

I am not sure about this but I was told that you can unlock it with turbo sim but again I am not 100% sure. if any one here can confirm this

Countless people are using 1.1.2 OTB phones with turbosim, stealthsim and nextsim.
