Is there a software power off button?

I searched but didn't come up with anything. Is there a software poweroff program for iPhone. Like a button on the main screen that will put the iPhone to sleep/standby. Or even holding down the Home button to do it. I just can not stand that power button way up on the top. Reaching for it casues the iPhone to slip easier.

Thanks.

Not currently, no. At least not that I've seen.

Hey, perfect opportunity for you to learn to program and write it!

Are you a chimpanzee??

SysInfo allows you to restart the iPhone, so one can only hope it's just as easy for them to write a power off command. www.robota.nl/iphone

No, but I am 6'7 and have big hands, maybe that's my problem.
