I have jailbroken the phone but when i attempt to run anySIM 1.1 it tells me that this phone cannot be unlocked the sim is inside the phone and everything.

If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.

The modem firmware 04.01.13_G.

Naa,

Just try to restore to 1.1.1..then try to unlock WITH ANOTHER SIM OTHER THAN the one that come with your iphone. If that doesnt work, then take the sim out and try it.

I'm guessing someone can't follow the plethora of guides, websites, stickies, and wikis out there.

Actually Hans i can and i have unlocked 5 iPhones already.

If I were you I would not say anything, if i have nothing productive to say.
It is sad too see flamers like this on forum that is made to help people.

cingular#1 I tried what you said didnt work i think there is something wrong with this phone.

pretty much we are going to upgrade to 1.1.2 then unlock it that way....
