Is it possible without voiding the warranty?

Edit - I would read the stickies, I just have no idea what all these terms mean. Eg: Virginizing?

yes its possible
no you wont void warranty.. well you may if they find you have jailbroken the phone but that is unlikely

just stick the sim in the iphone.... and activate it using this process.

So I...

1. Order the iPhone off of Apple.com.

2. Pop my GoPhone's SIM card into it.

3. Plug it up to iTunes.

I won't have to supply a credit/debit card during the activation? My main goal is to be able to fund this iPhone using GoPhone refill cards. Also--you mentioned jailbreaking the iPhone... when do I do that? Before activation? Please be as specific as possible, I literally don't know ANY specifics about this, I only got into this kind of stuff a few days ago.

did you not read my post

1. order phone
2. take sim in the phone out, put gophone sim in.
3. follow that guide.

I think some people misunderstand that GoPhone is labeled by AT&T two ways: Pick Your Plan or Pay As You Go.

Pay As You Go is not really available for iPhone, but you can use a PAYG SIM in it if you factory activate the phone (which might void the warranty, no guarantee).

Pick Your Plan is available for iPhone, but if I'm not mistaken you have to supply a valid debit/credit card and the refill cards don't work with PYP.

If you want to go Pay As You Go, then follow the iClarified guide cingular #1 explained in the previous post.

Not sure if you can get unlimited Data with Pay As You Go, but it would be a good idea.

In the last 7 days of my billing cycle I have used 5.7MB of data on AT&T's network. I have WiFi at home, at work, at school, at my mothers, my mother in laws. EVERYWHERE. So this data on Pay As You Go would have cost you $57.
