Hello my question is i have a verizon v3m phone and the area i live in dont have verizon it is just a local cdma network.Im wanting to know is there anyway i can read my friends phone that he has through our local company and save it than flash mine to have the same bootup and features as his does??It might be a dumb question on me to ask but i figured it was worth a try.THANKS FOR ANY HELP

By the way my phone is through the same company as his but mine has just got verizon crap on it lolol

Well for one his has helomoto software and also he can use his bluetooth mobil to mobil and i cant because mine has verizon crap on it?Also he can connect to mpt and i can but have to switch my phone to v3c to do so and really mine is a v3m which i couldnt use the micro card becuse it wasnt showing it in the menu for some reason?But anyway is it possible or can i do something else?

You could always flash to different verizon firmware or flash to alltel because alltel has close to the same features as verizon.

If he has the Generic UI (don't know how he got it, or if it's just a company that didn't brand their phone), copy that monster down and leak it out. Everyone needs a new monster for the V9ms. And yes you can flash yours, just make sure you back up all the personal data before you do it. Namely that NAM, ERI, and PRL. You might want to look into it however, if you try to use a seem editor on the V9m directly, it'll freeze up. You'll have to use P2kCommander and load and right the seems from there and edit your seem with P2kSeem.

Now, depending on what wireless carrier your friend has... If someone has been able to grab the Monster firmware file and leak it... you might be able to flash your phone with it...
