Marbl problems

My Kyocera Marbl with Virgin Mobile had 2 problems. The first was after charging it with power still on, none of the buttons would function when I pressed them. The phone was on, fully charged, but the buttons did nothing. I let the power run out and then charged it with the phone turned off. It worked perfectly for a day but now when I start it up, a blackish-blue screen with a couple tiny yellow pixels comes up and stays frozen. The phone and buttons work normally, but the screen is frozen on this blank image. Anyone experienced anything remotely close to this before?

I've never had that type of problem while using my Marbl. I did one time have my phone freeze up on my when charging, but after i removed the cable it worked the problem was fixed. I think you might have been unlucky and got a back Marbl. My personal advice is the return it and get a new one if possible.

That sounds similar to the problem my son's phone is having! It had an orange spot show up on the display screen, and it's getting bigger, all of the time. Now, it looks like someone scribbled something about the size of a pencil eraser, on it.

Also, he said he had it turned off today, but it beeped, when I sent him a text message. He said it's like it turns itself on, from time to time. Strange!

I was trying to find out what could be wrong with it, which is how I ended up here.

I wonder if it's some evil virus, attached to ringtones and/or songs, then. He did download one musical ring tone.

I too, have that orange blob on my screen and it does seem to be getting bigger. I don't suppose there's any fix for it?? Phone works fine, a bit short between battery charges tho...

I'm starting to see another problem with my marbl, where when I try to make a call, I get a couple of rings, then a voice message that says "We cannot complete your call at this time, please try again later.. Message 12, switch 696".. The person I'm calling hears one ring.. Incoming calls seem to be unaffected. The first time it happened, I figured the cell I was in had issues with its switch, but this has been going on at various locations for several days.. Do I need a new phone???

Has the Marble been upgraded recently (if so, what fixes ) ? I did not any of the black ones at Walmart ?
