People can hear themselves in my phone?

Well recently several people have told me they can hear themselves while talking to me on the phone. I went to the genius bar and the girl told me its an AT&T problem but I have called AT&T had them reset the lines or whatever fancy stuff they do in order to refresh the connection and I still have the same problem. Granted my volume is all the way up on the phone, but this shouldnt be happening with a $400 phone! In order to get the echoing off i have to hit speaker phone then take speakerphone back off again leading me to believe its a phone issue... anyone else have this issue or problem? Suggestions? Comments?

I have exactly the same problem and have found no solution. I'm hoping that the next software update will fix it.

I've been hearing my own echo recently. It is really annoying. I don't exactly enjoy the sound of my own voice.

Once in a while I will hear myself talking. I am on Apple BT when it happens.
