Love Motorola! Which One?

I have Verizon and I love the service and CS that I get from them. I have owned quite a few phones and I seem to have the best luck with Motorola despite the hype of the poor quality control etc. I live in an area that sometimes the signal is sketchy. I cannot get a LG to keep a signal in my house for anything and I had the ENV and it sucked...sounded like talking in an echo room. But Motorolas are said to be known for their reception and sound quality. Anyway I have the Motorola w385 right now and I have been and although I am very satisfied with the call quality and reception is stellar....the inside screen is a little small for my taste and the camera is crappy and it is not real comfortable to text on alot, and I have had to have the battery replaced like 4 times. I was wondering if it would be worth it to get a Razr V3M???? I definitely want to stick with Motorola as they have the far superior reception and call quality...Verizon does not have the widest selection of phones. On the W385 I can text myself a ringtone and save it as a sound, and then use it as a ringtone...can I do the same on a V3M? Just wondering in all the bad publicity about the RAZR being such a crappy phone...is it a solid good choice? Also is it worth it to get the extended battery? Thank you for your input.

Propaganda by Razr haters... the kid who wears all black with a sulky disposition.

Look, all Motos will have bad cameras, so if that bothers u... keep looking.

Most ppl here would recommend the V3xx for all-around performance (CDMA available?)

Anywho... get away from Verizon and your phone universe opens up... Verizon, as u already know, very limited choices, and things u can do with phone.

I'd try the new "fun" touch-screen voyager.

If you don't care about your warranty and want to unlock your features in the phone. Get a motorola from verizon (any one) and flash it. The amount of fun you get from it will be awesome. Out of the 2 motorolas I had, I loved the user interface that Verizon put on the E815, because it was the original UI that motorola includes on so many other service carriers. I was angry with the slowness of the k1m (krzr) and I flashed mine, I like the feel of it and also the responsiveness of the phone after running on the generic f/w. The V3m I had used before, I don't like the keys and also the width of the phone. So that's really just up to you. I'd recommend a k1m.

Ha ha, another one who found out about Moto awesome signal strength! I am with you on this! Though I am with Metropcs, our best phone right now is Moto Rokr Z6m. Well, I was on Verizon, I would look into 3 phones and makde up your mind.
1. Moto Q9m, it has pretty much everything, my friend has it and she loves it more than anything, including her BB curve that she traded out...signal sucks can't match the Q!
2. Razr 2 V9m, it is spendy but you get what you want, stunning video and camera..I know this cause I have same camera that the V9m has. Coming from Slvr L7c I know what VGA quality is...no more talking. If metropcs has the Razr2v9m I might get one, everybody loves how you can text from tiny corner of your enclosed cubicle restroom and it works! Signal and call is unbelieveable.
3. Rokr Z6c , I have Z6m which is CDMA also, but verizon has world version I think, anyway, absolutely awesome. It is combination of both candy bar and flip, at first I don't like slider but now I am hooked on it, so versatile and convenient that you can use both candybar mode and slider mode. On candybar mode you can talk, call, surf, shoot video, take picture, read email and play your mp3 player! with slider mode you do it all andit has keypad lock on the side very neat. The video and picture are very beautiful if you come form low grade VGA like 385 or Slvr or V3m. The resolution 240x320 really works its best with large resolution, and 2meg pixel, same as video mode, I love it. You have to check out this line of phone from moto.

I would not get V3m, it is on its last leg since the Razr2 and Rokrz6 have all newer technology and Screen resloution! no comparison once pic taken and surfing the net!! BTW Moto is coming out GSM version Rokr E8, Z10 later this spring for Asian market, so hopefully by year end we might see the E8 or similar.
I am now slider phone fan, you can keep them in old Slvr leather case...or any candybar case and work both ways.

so wait, can u buy a motorola rizr z6tv and somehow get it to use like a motorola rokr z6m's motorola ui? or can u just buy a moto rokr z6m for like us cellular and use it on verizon and keep it using the moto ui?

I got the V3a and really have no issues with it. Reception is good where I use it at.

A little attached to our 1st phone aren't we?

Go ahead, next time you are on the road, take a picture of the car in front of you, then look at the picture and tell me whether you can make out its license#. Next time when ur in an accident, u may need that feature.

I dare coz I own thousands dollers of photographic equipment.
