Pantech Duo from AT&T to Suncom

Bought the Duo from AT&T got it unlocked, can use my Suncom SIM just can't connect to the internet. Can anyone help me please!? Thanks.

Like most phones, you'll need to change the GPRS and Proxy settings, located within Settings/Connections. They are specific to your provider.

I have what are supposed to be the correct settings but anytime I try to connect it says remote connection has been disconnected. A former Suncom tech said he thinks that Suncom is sending OTA signals to keep any non-suncom phone from accessing there data service.
