No Ringer volumn on V3c

Hi, just bought a V3c on ebay excellent condition,its not activated and won't be until I can get the ringer volumns working. It will go through the viberate's but won't do the ring themes. I searched with no luck. Don't see anything in the seem edits. Does anyone know if they could be turned off, or is there a problem with the phone? Thanks in advance.

Wait is it not ringing.

If it is you might need a new speaker.

I feel it vibrating,would that also come through the speaker? Thanks.

just for reference if anyone reads this, to clarify vibrations are made with a secondary device in the phone. this isn't linked to the speaker in any way so a defective speaker will not prevent a phone from vibrating.
