I have purchased a locked att tilt and have not been able to unlock it throught the guys on ebay that do that. They have said they cannot find the code for it.
Can anyone help me with this?
On the box and on the back of the phone there is a 15 number imei but when I press *#06# it gives me a 17 digit imei.
Would appreciate any help or pointers.

use the xda forums there is a program you can use on your cpu to unlock the phone.

I got an unlock code for my 8925, anyone know where i can find a step-by-step guide for inputting it on the phone?

If you just put in a non-ATT SIM it will ask for it.

A SIM unlock, unlocks your device from the network it was sold on. Meaning that once you do a "SIM unlock", you can put any GSM carriers SIM in it and it will work.

Or if you just call AT&T they will give it to you.
I told them I was traveling to the UK and they gave it to me.
