i have sandisk 256mb

at smartphonesource.com, rumours are that someone got their hands on a prototype 1Gb card and it worked in the 7135, whether it's true, only time will tell

People have definitely used 512MB SD cards with it. As I understand the technology, the algorithms for handling different-sized memory amounts are on the card itself, and all sizes are the same to the device. So theoretically, there is no limit.

why do digital cameras that use the sd card have limits then? ie an HP digital camera can use a 128mb SD card at the most? I haven't tested the limit myself, but when i recommended the camera a while back, i told the fellow to get a 256mb card. The camera sales agent and i believe the camera's literature said the maximum supported card was 128mb. I'll try to put the limit to the test later today.
