OK guys, time for YOU to advise ME...

This may look like it belongs in the provider section, but it boils down to Palms, I promise.

I have a big decision to make. I have to decide whether to cancel my Sprint service for good(which has been suspended for almost 3 months now anyway), keep Alltel, and pay $400+ for a 755p, or haggle with Sprint, possibly get a Centro for $150, and most likely deal with crappy signals & endless billing errors forever.

I have some intel that a higher-up at Sprint can fix my outstanding balance so that it is no longer $600 and get it down to about $60. I also have a friend at a sprint store who can get me a Centro for about $150. However- I have 3 lines with Sprint, 2 of which I don't want to keep paying for, and I am now in contract with Alltel, meaning it's an ETF for me if I cancel & keep sprint.

Such decisions

Sprint Pros:
Possible $150 Centro
familiarity...?

Cons:
Crappy signal
atrocious billing errors EVERY month
trained-ape CSRs

Alltel Pros:
Great signal
no billing errors
COMPETENT customer service

Cons:
$400 755p(but I may have a friend of mine buying it for me for my birthday!)

The costs of canceling Sprint don't bother me. I'll probably NEVER pay the ETFs or even my remaining balance if I cancel them(after all they've put me through they can take me to court if they wanna bleed me any more), so I'm not worried about that. I REALLY hate Sprint, but I REALLY want that Centro.

I guess my ultimate question is-

Is dealing with Sprint's crap every month actually WORTH having a Centro? Or will I be more than happy staying with Alltel whom I <3 & just getting the 755p? Right now I'm really leaning toward keeping Alltel but I'd like some 2nd opinions.

I'd go with staying with Alltel and leaving SprintPOS and their BS.

I'm just glad I only have a Data card with Unlimited data through Sprint and don't have to deal with their CSR's or phone service.

Yeah... I'm probably not gonna go back to sprint. I'd rather just pay more for the phone & stick with alltel. 1 month down with no billing errors is enough to keep my business.
