Easy Ringers for the ROKR Z6m

My girlfriend bought a ROKR Z6m from alltel and loves it but like everyone else who owns a cell phone wants to create her own ringers. I've searched for hours with no luck trying to find a thread that made it easy to add custom mp3 ringers. I did find a few ways but my definition of easy is a little different than some posts I read. However, I found a way.

What you'll need:
1. Micro SD External Memory card w/adapter or a USB data cable.
2. mp3 editing software. (I like WavePad, personal preference)

First:
Use your editing software to open the mp3 file, cut and save it to a quick locaion. Desktop is a favorite. FYI, in most cases 20 seconds is the average time your phone will ring before going to voicemail.

Second:
Move the mp3 file you cut to the My_Music folder located on the external memory card. Do this via the Micro SD card adapter or the data cable. After you've completed this insert the card back into the phone/disconnect the data cable.

Third:
Go to Menu>Media Gallery>Sounds. Find the file that has recently been added, go to Options>Manage>Move>Phone. After the file has been moved, go to Options>Apply As>Ringer.

That's all there is to it! Beautiful.
