So Im sure if most of u guys are using and browing HoFo, im sure you know or have heard about the HTC Shift. I've been putting away some money since I bought my Tilt to get one. As i was daydreaming about how i would use the device in my day to day activities, i reached a crossroads and hence a question arised.......
So i buy one of these, and it has a SIM slot, yet if i take my SIM out of my phone and put it in the Shift, i wont have any phone capabilities (even though the Shift has WM6 on it it wont be able to dial....it is however, triband HSDPA enabled) so my only other option is to tether it to my phone. So my question is, if i tether my Shift to the Tilt, how will ATT know Im tethered? i mean its a dual boot device (Vista Business), so they'd have no real way of knowing if im using WM6 or the Vista Business side of the device, right?.......should i get the tethering option and deal with this 5GB theyre implementing.......or is there some other option......PDA connect plan maybe?
I intend to use Windows Live Messenger for video conferencing from home, and I'd imagine I'd hit 5GB's pretty quickly......any of you guys out there plan on getting a Shift? Have you thought about this?
Just wondering what others plan to do.
Thanx
