Some web pages don't open, is this a Java issue?

Hi,

I just got an HTC Dash, and I have everything set up pretty well. There are some web pages I use on my desktop that I want to view on my Dash, but for example this one is supposed to give a looping weather radar map, and also current forecast, conditions, etc:

On IE on the Dash, it gives me everything but the looping radar map. Just the other stuff, no radar map at all.

Another site I read where you can listen to streaming radio on smartphones is:

IE gives me an alert "this page cannot be displayed because the connection was lost ..." I'm using Wi-Fi right now, and most other pages work fine, except for like the weather radar pages of course.

Is this a Java issue for these two sites? If so, I tried searching, and cannot find a Java add-on for IE. (I also tried Opera with similar results on a Shadow that I returned for the Dash).

BTW, I have T-Mobile for my carrier, but I assume this is a WM6 issue?

Sometimes i have this problem on my Tilt..

Some cites i cannot FULLY access thru 3G so i have to jump on a wifi signal and get it. Also, sometimes opera mini wont get what i need so i have to use IE mobile and vise versa. Thats the GREAT thing about having two browsers and two networks.

Speaking of which the other day i had to download flash player for my phone. The only way to get it was thru IE mobile and wifi....
3G and IE would not work
Opera mini and 3G would not work...
Opera mini and wifi would not work
Only way was IE and wifi...

thats what i love about the tilt. access to 3G and wifi as well as two browsers (IE mobile and opera mini).

if i was u i would hit another wifi spot and try again, if no go... its your browser.
