Questions on Premier account, best plan and Tilt prices

My plan with T-mobile is over in about a month and I've decided the next phone to get is the Tilt. From what I've read, it's simply one of the best phones (depending on use).
I'm trying to find the best prices for the Tilt and ATT plans.
I checked and found that I am applicable for the ATT premier account. I'm also planning to transfer to another school, so I'm wondering if that'll affect my bills at all if I get a premier account. It's another school that ATT works with, but I might not be able to access the same email account if they send me anything that I need to read.
Anyways, when I checked to see what prices would be for a student, it was $2 off per month for voice and data. When I tried again with Faculty and Staff, it gave $8 off voice and data. I signed out and and went back under Student, but it had my phone, plans, services saved from when I signed in as Faculty and Staff. Are there any repercussions if I checkout? Faculty and Staff get a bigger discount, but is there any way they can actually prove that I am not Faculty and Staff? I plan to work at my school temporarily, but I don't think that's enough to be considered Faculty/Staff.

If I can't apply for the more significant discount offered for Faculty/Staff, then I guess my only option is the $125 (after mail in rebate) Tilt offered by Newegg. The only problem is that the plans are still full priced and it'll end up being a lot more than the $16 I get off per month with premier. Oh, and it'll be $275 for the Tilt after Mail in Rebates for the Tilt on premier.

Any advice is much appreciated.
