Color Schemes and Home Screen Layouts for the Duo

I am a new Pantech DUO owner (switched from a Samsung sgh-d807) and thus far, I am not really all that impressed with this phone. I do have a few questions and this forum has been my best resource for cell phone information.

I was wondering where I could get new color schemes and layouts for the Pantech DUO?? I tried loading some layouts that were on another website and said they were for use with WM6, but none of them loaded correctly and just made everything gray. I really thought that this phone would be more customizable.

I also thought that I would be able to do more with this thing. So, far the only thing that I found useful is the QWERTY keyboard. As far as I can tell, there really isn't really much more I can do with the DUO that I couldn't do on my old Samsung slide phone. What in the hell make this a "smart" phone? All the appz and programs come with a monthly fee. So, I haven't downloaded any. Anyone have an suggestions on applications or any cool features that you would recommend that I check out.

I am considering selling this on ebay and getting an iPhone...

If you are only looking at getting appz from AT&T then their really is not any point. If you are looking for more apps you are doing the best thing by hitting the web. Start by reading the Windows Mobile Standard forum on this website or try handango.com. The point is that this phone can be very customizable, just not so out of the box. However with that said it is a lot easier than a phone, no real hacking or modeling required.
