Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum, I'm looking for a complete set of OEM quality (allure brown) housing for my Rogers's branded k790a. So far, I know I can order keypad and housing from cnn.cn and side buttons from gsm4world, but I've heard some people complaint about the camera cover from cnn.cn was very hard to open/close.

1./Does anyone try out the housing from gsm4world, does it have same problem camera cover?

2./Any good experience on other online shop that sells oem quality and fitment?--ebay may be.

3./For those who live in Markham area, CA--where can I buy them local-shop's name pls?

I know it's not OEM, but I had no problems with it. It even comes with the side buttons.

I'm quite picky when it comes to this stuff, so is there a big drop-off between these non-OEM housing and the OEM housing in terms of quality? I really want a brown k790a

Honestly, everything felt the same EXCEPT for their keypad, it was really really stiff. that's why I bought the keypad from CNN.

if you check in pacific mall, i usually get my phone stuff from a store called K&K or KK don't really remember. its on the west side of the mall, in the very last aisle against the windows. they're really good and i've never had problems with any of the stuff i've gotten from them.

I think I'm going to give this a shot next weekend.

Do you know if I need to purchase a separate LCD plastic lens? I mean for the front LCD or use my current one?

It come with one. Plus the allure brown lens is a different color than the black one, it's like a light bronze color.

HOw is the quality of the lcd lens? is it the same durable plastic as the OEM? or is it more prone to scratching

from my experience with two different non oem covers they both scratch a lot easier than the original one that came with my phone

nobody answered, but i think it wouldn't look too good.

Just my opinion though... i just personally like things that are consistent without color variation

I've ordered from this guy before, his stuff is crap, I got a K810i, and it looked like it was a retarded K810

I'm tempted to buy a brown k790a housing off of this guy but not if its THAT crappy

I know it's not going to be OEM quality, but half decent would be nice

Decided to go ahead and buy the allure brown housing from ebay. Will post pictures, installation and overall opinions on the housing when I receive it.
