gmail has the option of adding additional email accounts to be collected by google in your gmail inbox. you can respond to these emails as if you are replying from the adress the message was sent to.

i have a secondary account i wanted to add to gmail, mainly because i wanted it to arrive faster on my blackberry. the problem is that when i receive the email on my blackberry, the "to" and "from" addresses are correct, but it says "received using xxx@gmail.com". so, when i try to reply, it sends the response as my gmail address, and not the secondary address which the original message was sent to.

this doesn't happen online, just on the blackberry. i was wondering if i could set up my blackberry to "reply as" the secondary email when it receives an email sent to that address, regardless of which email my blackberry "received the email using".

I don't think you can do it that way using Gmail on BIS. There is a GMail app for the BB. I use the GMail app but only for one my GMail. I did not integrate other accounts into GMail.

I'm wondering about this too. Has anyone used the GMail app for a secondary email account and can verify if replies correctly show the secondary email address?
