i bought phone from fido and its locked can some one help to unlock this phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can request the unlock code from your service provider, or obtain one from here for a small fee. http://www.howardforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=63

Requesting an unlock code from your service provider:Fido, for the fee of $250 is no longer an option that fido allows. Your best bet is to buy the phone unlocked from the GET GO, or find a reputable dealer who will unlock it for you. be aware you may void your warranty by unlocking it.

I have contact Fido - and they no longer provide unlock code.
For the K1, I had used Hexxtech to provide me the subsidy password to unlock - however, the K1 in combination with Fido seems to not work with the IMEI method.
Hexxtech was kind enough to contact me to try to help me with remote unlocking - however, it still didn't work. They were kind enough to process a speedy full refund as advertised - no hassel at all.

PLUG for Hexxtech.com - Speedy respond through e-mail, called me even at 10pm to help me, and processed a speedy refund. I'd gladly deal with them for my other phone unlocking needs.

Now, if I can only get my K1 Unlocked. I've surf youtube and seems to need to get the phone in TP mode to unlock it.

I sucessfully unlocked my K1 red fido version with this website. it was via IMEI / subsidy code method. worked fine. you need a 16 digit code not the 8 digit one.

The code I received was 16 digits.
