Let's hope that you can get it thru Cingular soon. Odd, specs show GPRS for all frequencies but 850, and no EDGE. Does this mean that Cingular customers without a 3G connection are going to have no data when on 850mhz? Surely SE isn't that stupid.... Course on the SonyEricsson site, it says it has EDGE on all 4 bands... Oh, advertising...

Anyone seen the W760 that's 'coming soon' on their site? Now that's a flawless phone...

Specs are wrong there. It's quadband GSM/EDGE with triband HSDPA.

Are you sure about that? w760 doesn't even have the front vga video calling camera. Although it is not a deal breaker, I think it is still far from flawless phone.

Flawless is, I suppose, a relative term here. For you, no front VGA camera might break the deal. For me, who will never use it as I am in North America, I really don't care if it's there or not... it won't work anyway.

What I want is a capable 3G phone that works on Cingular's network, texts great, has GPS, and works well as a phone. Sony Ericsson's are as close as you get phone design-wise. Now, if they would import Motorola's voice quality and noise suppression into the SE phones, that would be great. I'm hoping a 3G phone will eliminate a lot of the calling issues I've had with my SE phones. Their microphones pick up EVERYTHING going on around you... you'd think they'd have fixed that by now...

I guess You should rephrase your wording a bit - as you are in USA (and so am I

). FYI, Canada Rogers offers video calling and it is part of the N. A.

Anyway, I think it is too early to draw such conclusion before the phone is even released and reviewed.

BTW, did I say missing the front camera is not a deal breaker too? Aiya, Mr. Jobs could be right sometimes, I guess...
