help with wmp and storage card

I am trying to figure out how to sync windows media player with the tilt.
it will sync but it will only use the phone memory not the storage card.
I can't seem to figure out how to get it to recognize the card. I can play songs off of it using the player on the phone. The card came out of my razr which had my ringtones and stuff on it. any help would be appreciated.
