Hello! just got a new SLM, and am wondering if you can turn off the 3G like in the sync for improved battery life. In my area, the phone is constantly going back and forth between networks, so it kills the battery life.

I did a search but could not find anything, sorry if i missed it.

I do not have a Samsung on which to try this but see if there is a menu after entering *#8999*8378#.

I'm not sure if it can be turned off on the A747. It couldn't be on the A707.
