having issues setting up email account with P1i

i just got the P1i from honk kong n i was able to setup the internet n the mms texting n all but when it came down to the email account i was having a lil bit of difficulties with it .. i can't seem to understand how to setup up a hotmail account on it... anyone can help with my issue.. it be quite appreciated
