What does the 'E' at top of my phone mean? There is one in the middle and one by my signal strength. I bought my phone without any manuals, so I can't look it up.

You have an Edge connection. That is the current speed (band) that your internet runs on. You will sometimes have a G (gprs) or 3G (high broadband speed)

I noticed that your on t-mobile. Edge is the fastest for t-mobile.
