service provider change possible?

sorry for the lazy post but i just purchased a Sanyo 8300 Camera Phone. Video MM8300. SPRINT NEXTEL that has a clean esn and no balance owing and is "unlocked" so i guess what i am asking is am i able to get the phone on to a different provider like bell aliant in canada. Really new to phones so any information that you guys can give would be greatly appreciated. Oh the phone is a CDMA phone.

How is the phone unlocked? You would need to check with Bell Aliant in Canada before purchasing this phone, to see if they can activate it on their network. The term unlocked usually refers to GSM phones, not CDMA.
