i had cingular back in 2000 i switched to verizon in 2001 and have been with them since. my whole family has cingular with the family plan. i recently broke my verizon phone and was thinking of just canceling my verizon and add with my fam with cingular. i pay 50 dollars a month out of my pocket for verizon if i go with the fam il end up only paying 10 dollars. as for phones i dont know what would be best for me so i wanted to to ask you guys. what i mainly want in a phone is just a small phone with blue tooth capable dont want an internet phone since u have to pay more for that service. also i really want a phone that is capable of transfering your phone book to a blue tooth device. i have a blue tooth head unit in my car but with verizon i couldnt transfer my pb to it, can cingular transfer?? the past phones i had were nokia 8890, motorola v60i, and a razr, pretty much all tiny phones. what would u all recomend?

I'd say that the SE 580i would be a good phone for you. I've had a few SE's in the past and think they are very reliable and easy to use. The bluetooth is powerful and responsive and you have many options as far as sending contacts individually or as a phonebook in whole. Another good option about the phone is that it's a slider so the keyboard is hidden and won't be activated if set in your pocket. Whatever phone you do chose, I'm sure it'll work better than any verizon bluetooth would.

It's a pretty good little phone! I got one for christmas as a backup to my iPhone, when I know I wont need it or scared it will get stolen/broken somewhere!

It has very good reception, decent battery, lots of features, and it's even better if you find one unbranded.. but if you aren't experienced that is a different story and you won't want to get into all of that
